Keeping me busy

I've been kept busy starting up my photography business! There is so much work that goes into it! Between the website, emails, scheduling, phone calls, photo shoots, editing, and promoting, I'm still a stay at home MOM! Thats the most important position! So far business has been great! Of course everything has a draw back...I injured my hand back in December, I hit my hand on the corner of the medicine cabinet, right between the knuckles of my ring finger & middle finger. It didn't bother my at first but over time it has become unbearable. My Dr. first told me she thinks I just bruised my tendon really bad & sent me to physical therapy. So far physical therapy has only made the issue worse! So my therapist suggested that I see a hand specialist in Ortho, he thinks that I damamged a nerve, which would explain the numbness, tingling, and burning sensation every time I use my hand!! Oh did I mention that it is my RIGHT HAND!! Yep..my camera hand, my editing hand, my EVERYTHING hand!!!! I've been in a splint for weeks now & life has been difficult! But just like everything else in my life...I'll get throught this!!

It's been awhile....

Ok ok I know it's been awhile..more like 5 months..but I've been one busy Momma!! Let's see if I can sum up the last 5 months....
 -Christmas was great!
-New Years was fun!
-The boys had an awesome Wii birthday party!
-Andrew turned 11..yes I said 11!
-Michael turned 7!
-Juan had a quiet birthday!
-Valentine's day was eventful!
-We bought a new bed!
-St. Patrick's day was lucky!  
-In February Andrew crossed over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts! Andrew crossing over was a big deal for us, not only did he cross over with earning his Webelos badge but he was one of only a few boys to earn his Arrow of Light! For those of you not familiar with Scouting, Arrow of Light is the HIGHEST award you can earn in Cub Scouts, It is the only badge you can cross over to your Boy Scout uniform. Juan and I are so proud of Andrew!! He truely is an amazing son!
Unfortunately I do not have pictures to show for all of this! In January I bought a new lap top for myself & I have not had a chance to transfer all of my pictures over from my old computer to my new one.

Emma's First Haircut

So I finally decided to take the plunge and get Emma her FIRST HAIRCUT!! Believe me it wasn't an easy decision!

The BIG 3-0!!!

30 minutes til I turn 30 and I'm completely ok with it! My 20's had some bumps in the road & I was definitely pushed to the limit..these last few months have definitely brought some major changes & I'm facing them full throttle! Its not easy and thankfully I have the support of my husband. A LOT of greatness has come out of my 20's...A loving husband..3 beautiful children..and blessed with some great family & friends! It took awhile to get here but I'M HERE! I'm embracing 30 with open arms & excited to see what the next few years bring!

Date night!

Juan & I don't get time alone that often, so when we do its always great & refreshing! Juan took me to see The Phantom of the Opera (yes, again!) per my request for my birthday! Phantom was AMAZING! After the show we found a yummy thai food restaurant, just what we have been craving! I always enjoy our date nights! I'm so blessed to have Juan as my spouse.

Pumpkin Carving Fhe

The last two years we have decided to decorate our pumpkins instead of carving them. We realized that by carving them the kids don't really get to participate much & get bored quickly! So I found foam stickers made for pumpkins! The kids enjoy it so much..even Emma! She has been able to do it all by herself for the past two years!
