We finally decorated the Christmas tree! It was a nice quiet evening at home, the house was all warm & toasty as we listened to Christmas music, drank hot cocoa and decorated the tree. It was the first year that I didn't decorate our tree by myself. The boys have their own smaller tree that they get to decide on a theme & decorate themselves. This year they chose to make it a Lego tree. They used their Lego's to make ornaments & I strung them as they hung them. We invited our missionaries over to join us in our Christmas spirit. We wanted them to feel right at home during this holiday season, since they can not be at home with their own families. We had so much fun singing songs & taking pictures. Even though Emma wasn't feeling good she still managed to take a few pics in front of the tree before she fell asleep. We truely missed her while she slept but she was really sick & needed the rest. I left her a few ornaments so she can hang them on the tree herself. You know it's moments like these that make me love my family even more! Our lives sometimes get too busy to stop and truely enjoy being together as a family. Everyday I try to take atleast one moment to appreciate and thank God for my family.
The next day Emma really wanted to wear her Snow White costume..so she wore it all day! ;)
